Following a school-wide tragedy, the process of healing requires everyone in the community– ┬áteachers, counselors, social workers, parents, and students– working together as a team to provide a healthy social-emotional climate for all. This presentation will describe how the Center for Mind-Body Medicine ( brought transformational change to a parent and teacher from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who are now working together using evidence-based strategies to empower their students to help themselves and others in their newly formed Mind-Body Ambassador Club.
